Liverpool Accommodation

I stayed in Staycity Aparthotels Liverpool Waterfront and have absolutely nothing bad to say about my stay! Staycity is a hotel in Liverpool that is perfect for location, cleanliness, parking and spacious.

The location was the best I could have asked for as it was minutes away from Liverpool city attractions like Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE and walkable to Matthew Street for itinerary #3! Click here for the latest prices for Staycity Aparthotels Liverpool Waterfront.

Parking is just next to the hotel but blink and you’ll miss the signs but note there is a one-way street so if you drive with the hotel entrance on your left, you’re going the right way and the entrance to the car park is opposite the back of the pub.

This itinerary is for fun things to do in Liverpool for adults.

Along with the main things to see in Liverpool don’t miss out on Liverpool nightlife (and day pubs actually).

Looking for days out in Liverpool for adults? Just head to Liverpool Mathew Street to start at The Cavern Club. From there, you’re going to have a proper good time with tourists and locals along the street, enjoying live music 24/7, street buskers, music murals and karaoke every day at 5pm!

Free Things to Do in Liverpool Itinerary #4

While there are many tours and essential things to buy, don’t miss out on the free days out Liverpool can offer you!

Some Liverpool visiting places are a must in your day trip to Liverpool and are completely free of charge. Who doesn’t love a freebie?

There are many walking routes you can take where you can discover neighbourhoods of Liverpool, the waterfront and the Royal Albert Dock.

Royal Albert Dock is home to many free attractions in Liverpool such as strolling the river, taking pictures of the famous Liver building and Port of Liverpool building, free museums and the many statues as pictured below.

One of the best statues in Liverpool to visit is the The Drumlin’s SuperLambanana, a bright yellow statue found on Tithebarn Street.

Another Liverpool must see are the two cathedrals in the city. Yes, two. There’s even a saying that goes “If you want a Cathedral, we’ve got one to spare”. Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Britain’s biggest Cathedral is found on St James Mount in and Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King found in Mount Pleasant.

Liverpool free museums include Museum of Liverpool, Merseyside Maritime Museum, Walker Art Gallery and Tate Liverpool.

Finally, hunt down the best street art around the city including The Liverpool Wings by Paul Curtis, a famous spot to snap a picture in front of giant, blue, angel wings in Baltic Triangle.

Liverpool Food Itinerary #5

International foods, street food markets, authentic Liverpool restaurant, British favourites can all be found for your days out Liverpool.

Places to Eat Liverpool

Whichever Liverpool points of interest you visit, you will find the best places to eat in Liverpool to enjoy such as Baltic Market, Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool One, Georgian Quarter and Chinatown.

There’s lots of great options for Liverpool brunch and bottomless brunch in Liverpool. Try Baltic Social for a delicious sweet and savoury spread, The Quarter for outdoor brunching, and The Brunch Club for a mix of all options!

Head to Liverpool markets for local businesses, street food and cheap eats. There’s Royal Albert Dock with many options on the waterfront or Duke Street Market for smart-casual eating.

The best though is Baltic Market, a hotspot and Liverpool’s first street food market featuring Pizza, Korean snacks, Thai eats and soul food. Baltic Market reminds me of Camden Market in London, Depot in Cardiff and Goodsheds in Barry!

My top recommendation for breakfast is getting a pastry from Rough Hand Made on Royal Albert Dock. While you’re there pin where you’re from on their giant world map.

Best restaurants Liverpool has to offer include Roski by Anton Piotrowski (winner of Masterchef), Mowgli for Indian street food with a twist, Amalia for an Italian restaurant Liverpool and Hickory’s Smokehouse for American BBQ.

Liverpool One restaurants to choose from are the British faves like Nandos, Las Iguanas and Turtle Bay plus Liverpool exclusive spots like Lunya and Boujee.
