The famous Camden Amy Winehouse pub that she frequented is called The Hawley Arms. If you visit there’s signed pictures, memorabilia and murals of Amy Winehouse. Even after she became famous she used to jump behind the bar and serve drinks and there’s videos of such on YouTube!

The Roundhouse is a listed building that holds shows and concerts including Amy Winehouse performances.
You could easily get to Roundhouse by walking from Camden Market, down Chalk Farm Road and the venue is on your left. It may not be as meaningful as visiting the Amy Winehouse statue Camden but it is still a link to the singer.

Amy Winehouse and Camden Market
Camden Market is often the top reason why people visit Camden, and for good reason. The market is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon or morning (or both) strolling around, trying authentic world street food, shopping, having a pint, going to the Vagina Museum or canal cruises.
Amy Winehouse Camden Market are linked because, as a local, Amy of course always visited the market. Amy actually worked here selling candles when she was younger. And the Amy Winehouse sculpture Camden is located at the Market (see more below).
You should definitely explore Camden Market, Amy Winehouse fan or not.
Amy Winehouse Tribute Camden
After Amy passed away, Camden became a place with snippets of Amy’s life and in her memory and tributes to her came in several forms.
Below is an Amy Winehouse memorial place at all the Amy Winehouse graffiti around the neighbourhood, where to find the Camden Amy Winehouse statue and Amy on Camden walk of fame.
Where is Amy Winehouse Statue Camden?
Amy’s presence remains in Camden and in particular, through the life-like Amy Winehouse Camden statue which was unveiled in 2014 on Amy’s 31st birthday by sculptor, Scott Eaton. The statue has Amy’s signature beehive and is 1.75 metre / 5 ft 9 in tall which was apparently the exact same as Amy Winehouse height.
To find the Amy Winehouse statue in Camden:
- Enter Camden Market from Chalk Farm Road (past the Camden Lock signed bridge and on the left)
- Take immediate right and walk towards the Stables Market but don’t go down the steps
- Instead, walk around the edge of the steps with Makers Alley on your right and an ‘Eat More British Cheese’ sign
- On your left is the Amy Winehouse statue
- If you’ve come outside the Hans and Gretel sweet shop, you’ve gone too far
Amy Winehouse Street Art
Art is always a form of expression and certainly with the loss of such a talented singer as Amy. There is so much Camden street art to admire and a lot of them include an Amy Winehouse mural.
I often stumbled upon Amy Winehouse street art while in Camden but there is a specific Amy Winehouse Street Art Trail that was a collaboration between The Jewish Museum London and Global Street Art.
Download the Amy Winehouse Street Art Trail Map Here so you can follow the trail and find all the official Amy Winehouse tributes.
In addition, there is Amy Camden Street art popping up in several other places such as the block next to The Lock Tavern pub, The Dublin Castle or Harrington Square.

London Walk of Fame
In November 2019, London music walk of fame was opened to commemorate outstanding musicians. There are currently four artists on the Camden walk of fame: The Who, Madness, Soul II Soul and Amy Winehouse (Amy’s was the third to be unveiled and had a tribute in Camden in March 2020).
The music walk of fame in London is found outside Camden Town Underground Station with plans to continue all the way down Chalk Farm Road in years to come.
So where is Amy Winehouse walk of fame? The Amy Winehouse plaque is on the street right opposite Camden Town Station, outside Barclays. Blink and you’ll miss it.
Top tip: Find the plaque at off-peak times. I went about 8am with hardly anyone around and when I walked past again about midday, you couldn’t stop for two minutes without holding others up/getting in their way.
All of these places are within walking distance of one another so you can definitely see all the Amy Winehouse memorials including tributes near the Amy Winehouse Camden address in just one day.
As you can see, Amy’s love for Camden and Camden’s love for Amy is scattered around the area through her movements, the odes and the connections.

Camden Accommodation
I stayed in the following two places in Camden:
On the first night, I stayed in The Pack and Carriage which was close to Euston tube station and Mornington Crescent tube station. It was a fantastic location just 10/15 minute walk to Camden Market and in a quieter area than the busy Camden High Street. Click here to view the latest prices.
The second night, I stayed in The Hurdwick which was right next door to Mornington Crescent station and while the location was great, the facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, my friend found the noise from the tube disturbing all night.
But if you’re a deep sleeper then this shouldn’t be a problem! Click here to see the latest prices.
